Aug 23-Sept 23

Stop overthinking and start doing! Get out of your own way and out of your head. With the new moon in Virgo on Sept 6, this is the month to adjust your mental attitude and refine your running goals. Toward the end of the month you will see the results, but you have to be patient. One race doesn't define your fitness. When you remove the negative thoughts and replace them with positive, happy and confident thoughts you will see the power of what happens when you are not only physically ready but your mind is on board supporting the run in stead of jeopardizing it. Time to make racing fun again.


Sept 24-October 23

This is a month of motivation for Libra's. Get rid of any unhealthy habits or patterns, and stop being overly critical of yourself, it is your time to shine. Time to drop anything holding you back from reaching your running goals, and regain control of your training and life.


October 24-November 22

The Sun and new Moon are telling you to plan a new course. Try out a new distance, join a new running club or group, chase new dreams that you haven't previously imagined for yourself, set new goals. The accomplishment of this new course will open doors and opportunities later in the year, and even in the years to come. You are setting the foundation for something BIGGER.


Nov 22-Dec 21

You will be in pursuit of some big goals this month, and will accomplish many, but be prepared for some glitches later on in the month. When Mercury turns retrograde on the 27th, you will likely encounter some setbacks. Just be patient and smart about your training, and know that these setbacks are temporary, and once October comes around you'll be back to reaching those goals. If you are tired or injured, take time off and reset. Big things are coming in October and you need to be healthy to reach them.


Dec 22-Jan 20

You will have greater clarity into your goals this month and what you need to do to reach them. Stop self sabotaging, stop reacting to things you cannot control, stop making excuses and giving yourself an out. Your mental focus and concentration will support your running goals this month. If you look for reasons to fail you will fail. If you look for reasons to succeed, you will find success.


January 21-February 19

Time to get comfortable being uncomfortable. Time for some self-reflection. The new moon will make you aware that you giving up in workouts and races too easily. Push yourself physically and see what you can really do this month. Remove the survive mentality and move toward the courage mentality. This is the month to take risks in your training and racing, take yourself out of that comfort zone that you like to stay in. You have to raise your physical discomfort to reach your peak as a runner; choose to push through it, talk yourself through it, see this physical discomfort as a good thing.


Feb 20-Mar 20

This is a healing month for Pisces. If you have been fighting an injury, this is the month to give your body a rest so it can fully heal. You will experience some uncertainty this month, so give yourself time to make decisions before you commit to a big race or event.


Mar 21-Apr 19

September may have a slow start, but once Mars enters Libra on the 15th, you'll be back to crushing those workouts and goals. Be patient, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Your goals are within reach, you just need a little more time and consistent training to get there.


Apr 20-May 20

Resist your natural urge to slow down when things get tough this month. Fight for every second of the workout or race. You will have an epiphany this month about your training and racing and realize that you've been putting limitations on yourself by giving in too easily when it starts to get tough. Once you learn to push yourself, those far off goals will quickly come within reach.


May 21-June 21

There is a success-boosting full moon on Sept 20 and it has Gemini written all over it. Hope you are ready, because something big is coming.


June 22-Jul 22

It is all about the team this month. Whether it is your school team or your training team or a group of friends you run with, this is the month to really embrace these relationships and push each other to bigger things. If you run alone most of the time, call up a friend to join you.


Jul 23-Aug 22

Making sacrifices this month will have you reaping the benefits in October. Make the time to get the training in. Get plenty of sleep, say no to anything that goes against your goals. Focus on what is important now.
